Jorge Barboza is a filmmaker based in Atlanta, known for his work as an editor, producer, and writer. After being an active member of the Miami film community, he relocated to Atlanta, where he continues to develop independent fiction and documentary projects. He gained recognition for directing and editing The Case Against Mr. Sheppard (2018), a short film praised for its compelling exploration of justice and morality.

Barboza’s producing credits include Ven a mi casa esta navidad (2006), Music in the Air (2010), The Tease (2017), and Fair Fight (2018), several of which he also wrote. His editing portfolio includes award-winning shorts such as 5 Star Rating (2019) and The Best You Got (2020). Over the years, his projects have earned multiple international awards.

Barboza’s work bridges Latin American identity with contemporary storytelling. He remains committed to mentoring new talent and contributing to the growth of the Atlanta film scene.
