Refund Policy – The Cohen Films

At The Cohen Films, we are committed to providing high-quality virtual training experiences in film and acting. Please read our refund policy carefully before completing your enrollment.

1. Reservation Fee

The reservation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. However, if a student is unable to begin their course as scheduled, their spot will remain guaranteed for up to one (1) year from the payment date. During that period, the student may apply the reservation fee toward any future available course of equal value.

2. Full Courses

Full course payments are eligible for a partial refund only before the start of Week 2 of the program.
In such cases, the refund will be issued minus the non-refundable reservation fee and the cost of any classes already taken.
Once Week 2 has begun, all payments become non-refundable, regardless of attendance or participation.

3. Individual Modules

For individual module enrollments, refunds are only available before Class 2 of the module.
Refunds will be issued minus the non-refundable reservation fee and the cost of any classes already taken.
After the second class begins, no refunds will be issued.

4. Pre-Recorded Courses

All pre-recorded courses are non-refundable due to the immediate access provided upon purchase.

5. Missed Classes

Students who miss a live class are entitled to:

  • Attend the same class when another group reaches that session (subject to availability), or
  • Receive a pre-recorded session.

This ensures that no student loses access to the learning material covered during their absence.

6. Course Transfers

Students who qualify for a refund or deferment may choose to transfer their enrollment to another course within the allowed period (up to one year from the original payment date), subject to availability.

7. Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Missed classes outside of the allowed make-up options
  • Scheduling conflicts
  • Personal changes in circumstances after the eligible refund period
